Freddy Saez

Frontend Engineer — React & TypeScript.
Full-stack and leadership experience.

I build interfaces that stay fast and codebases that stay sane. Currently CTO at Harbour.Space University in Barcelona — still shipping production code every week. Now looking for a frontend engineering role in Berlin.

algorithm problems solved

10th

place, ICPC Caribbean finals

I started coding at 15 because I liked solving hard problems. Competitive programming gave me strong fundamentals, so I don't just copy patterns — I understand what's happening underneath.

Over time I moved from algorithm contests to building real products: CRMs, internal platforms, multiplayer experiments, university systems. Things people actually use.

I've worked as a frontend developer, a full-stack engineer, and now CTO at Harbour.Space University. Titles are fine, but at the end of the day I still like building — I stay hands-on and design things properly from the start so they don't turn into a mess later.

No drama, no overengineering, no magic. Just clean systems that make sense.

Chief Technology Officer

Harbour.Space · Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Technical lead for the university's digital platform. I run a [N]-person engineering team and own [X] internal systems — admissions, academic operations, and the public site — used by [Y] students and staff daily. Still hands-on: I review every architecture decision and ship production code weekly.

01Phende CRM

live ↗

Phende CRM logo

Problem

Most CRMs assume a sales team clicking through dashboards. Developers want to automate their pipeline — and the API is usually an afterthought.

What I built

A full SaaS CRM with an API-first core: Laravel and Vue.js, MySQL, Docker deployments. External forms, webhooks, and a clean REST API so every workflow can be scripted.

Result

Live at phende.es and running in production — the contact form on this very site is a Phende external form.

02WebGPU Solar System

WebGPU Solar System screenshot

Problem

Three.js's WebGPU renderer and TSL shaders are new enough that there are few real-world references for a complete scene built on them.

What I built

An interactive solar system: 8 planets, 23 moons and 3,000 asteroids with accurate orbital mechanics, procedural TSL shaders, a time-speed slider up to 10,000×, and a WASD free-fly camera.

Result

Runs in the browser at interactive frame rates on the WebGPU renderer. Live demo and full source available.

Problem

Real-time multiplayer in the browser is unforgiving: every dropped frame and late packet is instantly felt by the player.

What I built

A multiplayer aim trainer — Next.js, TypeScript and Three.js on the client, with real-time state synchronization between players.

Result

Fast, playable, and open source. Built as a testbed for real-time systems and rendering performance.
